How Usage Is Counted
Section titled “How Usage Is Counted”SweetCode Cloud counts billable requests — these are proxy events that pass validation and are forwarded to at least one destination. The following requests are not counted toward your quota:
- Denied requests — Events rejected due to invalid payload, missing domain config, or inactive subscription
- Rate-limited requests — Events rejected because the per-IP rate limit (120/min) was exceeded
- Bot requests — Events from known bot user agents (e.g.
curl,python-requests)
You can view your current usage on the Dashboard overview page, which shows a usage bar and percentage, and on the Billing page.
Quota Warning Emails
Section titled “Quota Warning Emails”SweetCode Cloud automatically sends email notifications when your monthly usage reaches certain thresholds:
| Threshold | Notification |
|---|---|
| 80% | Warning — you’re approaching your limit, consider upgrading |
| 90% | Urgent — close to your limit, events will be rejected soon |
| 100% | Limit reached — new events are being rejected |
These emails are sent to the organization owner’s email address. Once you receive a 100% notification, events will return a request_limit_exceeded error until either:
- Your billing cycle resets (monthly)
- You upgrade to a higher plan
The Dashboard Overview
Section titled “The Dashboard Overview”The Dashboard page provides an at-a-glance view of your account:
- Usage bar — Shows the percentage of your monthly quota used, with the exact request count
- Domain count — Number of active domains
- Subscription info — Current plan name and billing period end date
- Daily usage chart — An interactive chart showing billable and denied requests per day over the current billing period
Upgrading or Changing Plans
Section titled “Upgrading or Changing Plans”To upgrade, downgrade, or manage your subscription:
- Go to Billing in the sidebar
- Your current plan and usage are displayed at the top
- Use the Customer Portal to manage your subscription — this opens the Freemius billing interface where you can:
- Upgrade to a higher plan
- Downgrade to a lower plan
- Update payment method
- View invoices and billing history
- Cancel your subscription
Cancellation & Reactivation
Section titled “Cancellation & Reactivation”What Happens When You Cancel
Section titled “What Happens When You Cancel”Cancelling your subscription means “don’t renew” — it does not cut off your service immediately. After cancelling:
- Your proxy continues to forward events for the remainder of the billing period you already paid for
- Your plan limits (request quota, log retention, domains) remain unchanged until the period ends
- Your WooCommerce plugin continues to operate normally
- The Billing page shows “Canceled” with an “Access until” date indicating when your paid period expires
Once the paid period ends, your organization is automatically downgraded to the Free plan.
Reactivating After Cancellation
Section titled “Reactivating After Cancellation”If you cancelled but want to continue, click the Reactivate subscription button on the Billing page. This opens a checkout for a new billing period.
How reactivation billing works:
- You are charged for one new billing period (monthly or annual)
- The new period stacks on top of your existing paid period — it does not overlap or replace it
- No money is wasted from your original payment
Example timeline:
| Date | Action | Period Expiration |
|---|---|---|
| March 1 | Purchase Pro ($12/mo) | April 1 |
| March 2 | Cancel subscription | Still active → April 1 |
| March 3 | Reactivate ($12) | May 1 (stacked) |
In this example, the second payment extends your subscription by one month beyond the original expiration. You get full value for both payments.
Upgrading or Downgrading After Cancellation
Section titled “Upgrading or Downgrading After Cancellation”You can also choose a different plan when reactivating. The pricing table on the Billing page lets you select any available plan. The same stacking behavior applies — the new period is added after your current paid period ends.
Refunds
Section titled “Refunds”SweetCode Cloud does not issue automatic refunds on cancellation — you retain access for the remainder of your paid period instead. If you believe you are entitled to a refund due to exceptional circumstances, contact support and we will review your case individually.
What Happens at the Limit
Section titled “What Happens at the Limit”When your monthly request quota is exhausted:
- New proxy events receive a
429HTTP response with therequest_limit_exceedederror code - Events are not queued or retried — they are dropped
- Your WooCommerce store continues to function normally (only server-side tracking is affected)
- Browser-side tracking (pixels, tags) is unaffected
- Usage resets automatically at the start of your next billing cycle
To avoid losing events, upgrade your plan before reaching the limit. The quota warning emails (at 80%, 90%, and 100%) give you advance notice.
Free Plan
Section titled “Free Plan”The Free plan includes 100,000 requests per month with no credit card required. It’s designed for testing and small stores. You can:
- Add up to 5 domains
- Use all 5 destination platforms
- Access the full dashboard including real-time event monitoring
- Create up to 2 organizations
The only limitations are the monthly request count, log retention (1 hour), and the Community support tier.
